The holidays are a great time for a signature cocktail! You only need to buy a limited amount of ingredients, things can be prepped in advance, and it screams thoughtful host! Thanksgiving has so many flavors that I wanted to go with something that would be easy to sip all day! –Hello Don Julio 🙂
This Thanksgiving Margarita is easy to make with flavors that really remind you of fall! It’s light, fresh, and you can dial up the tequila quite a bit before you can really taste it!
Ingredients:
- 1.5oz Tequila – I used Don Julio Reposado
- 1oz Grand Marnier
- 3oz of your favorite Apple Cider (or fresh-pressed apple juice)
- 1oz Fresh Lime Juice
- 1/2oz Agave Syrup
- Ice
- Optional garnish: Cinnamon sugar, sugar, apples, limes
Thanksgiving Margarita in Bulk (serves 8):
- 12oz Tequila – I used Don Julio Reposado
- 8oz Grand Marnier
- 24oz Apple Cider (or fresh-pressed apple juice)
- 8oz Fresh Lime Juice
- 4oz Agave Syrup
NOTE: Reposado means to restful/rested. Reposado tequilas have been aged for 2 months to a year in oak barrels.
Directions:
- Rim glass with optional cinnamon/sugar blend or plain sugar
- Add all ingredients + ice to a shaker or pitcher if making in bulk
- Serve over ice with apple or lime garnish
- Enjoy
