Peppermint Bark was a new treat for me! I have always liked it, just never made it! This is another super easy recipe that’s way too easy to eat!
Ingredients:
- 12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 16 oz white chocolate chips -Make sure they are made with milk or cream, not oil
- ½ tsp peppermint extract
- 3 candy canes
Directions:
- Melt semisweet or dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second increments until melted
- Spread chocolate into a 9″ X 13″ rectangle on a piece of parchment paper in/on a pan – place in the fridge for about 15 mins
- Follow the same steps with the white chocolate but add the peppermint extract before spreading.
- Top with crushed candy canes (I put my in a baggie and used the back of a spoon to crush)
- Let set in the fridge or freezer for about an hour
- Break into pieces and enjoy!
Ahhhh tomorrow is the last day of my #12DaysofChristams! This month has flown by! Everyone is ready for 2020 to be over but I hate when Christmas flies by! I need one more week to eat sweet treats on my couch and watch Christmas movies! I hope you enjoy this Peppermint Bark recipe, we sure have!
