Classic Peppermint Bark was a hit last year but this year I am adding a yummy twist, Oreo Thins! Oreo Peppermint Bark is the twist you didn’t know you needed! This is still a super easy no-bake dessert, but with an added surprise. We can’t open the fridge without grabbing a piece, it’s that good!
Ingredients:
- 1 package of Oreo Thins
- 12 oz semisweet or dark chocolate chips
- 16 oz white chocolate chips
- ½ tsp peppermint extract
- 3 candy canes
Directions:
- Line a 9×13′ pan with a piece of parchment paper
- Melt white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second increments until melted, then add in peppermint extract
- Dip Oreo thins in white chocolate and place face down on parchment paper
- Spread remaining white chocolate over Oreos
- Melt semisweet or dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second increments until melted
- Pour over white chocolate and swirl or leave as is
- Top with crushed candy canes (I put my in a baggie and used the back of a spoon to crush)
- Let set in the fridge for about an hour
- Break into pieces and enjoy!
Store your Oreo Peppermint Bark in an air-tight container in the fridge. These melt pretty easy so if your home is toasty, they may not do great on the counter. Make sure you keep checking in for my #12daysofchristmas cocktails & treats!
