I have grown to LOVE my morning coffee. I get to relax and start or restart my day as I sit and enjoy it. Last week I was drawn to some edible lavender my cousin found for me at the Farmers Market. This Lavender latte is so yummy that it forces you to slow down and enjoy every sip!
I usually say it’s up to you to make your own simple syrup or buy your own. This time IT IS NOT! You simply MUST make my Lavender Simple Syrup the moment you can get your hands on some edible lavender.
Ingredients:
- 1 shot of expresso or 4oz of coffee
- 6oz unsweetened coconut milk — I tried with dairy milk and coconut is much better my opinion
- 2 1/2 Tbs lavender simple syrup — Click for my recipe
Directions:
- I used the Milk Frother on my Keurig® K-Café™ Special Edition Single Serve Coffee, Latte & Cappuccino Maker — If you don’t have one, you can use a microwave-safe jar to warm your milk then shake it to get it frothy. Or steam in a saucepan on the stove.
- In your cup add lavender syrup and expresso then stir
- Pour steamed milk over top
- Garnish with lavender flowers for your cute pictures — I removed them after my pictures and gave it all a good stir before enjoying
I really hope you loved his Lavender Latte as much as we do! Check out my Instagram for a quick video on how to make my Lavender Simple Syrup!
XOXO, Laya

Yummy, I can’t wait to try this recipe. I’ve been eyeing cooking with lavender for a little while. Other than using the Herbes De Provence spince on some fresh Salmon, I haven’t done anything else, so I’m excited to try this recipe soon.
