A gratitude list is a great way to renew your energy and end the year strong! We have big changes coming up this year, which has made it really easy to put my needs on the backburner. Thankfully Lovet Planners gifted me a Gratitude Journal to help me slow down and make time for myself!
I love how each day not only asks what you are grateful for, but it asks you to reflect on why! This is where the real magic happens! Don’t make this exercise hard or stressful. Set a timer and write what comes to your mind first! Nothing is too big or too small to add to your gratitude list! Love Planners has all kinds of planners and journals to fit your needs. Benefits Of Gratitude:
- Puts things in perspective
- Helps you prioritize what is important
- Lifts your mood when you see all the great things happening in your life
- Helps you show gratitude to the people and things you love
Examples From My Gratitude List
My gratitude list is mostly bullet points. Nothing is too small for my list and it usually ends in praise and prayer! I have never done this exercise and not felt better afterward! As I stated on IG, my brain is 100% on the baby so it’s important that I ensure my needs are being met as well.
- All 5 senses are working properly
- We have the resources to make our dreams come true
- I am growing a healthy baby and loving how I look
- The LayaB is reaching more than 5 people 🙂
Gratitude List Journal Prompts
Journaling is not only therapeutic but it’s so rewarding to go back and read. There have been times I’ve written things that I thought were impossible and came back months later only for them to have come to fruition!
- Something you learned about yourself this year
- One thing you accomplished this year
- One thing you have done in the last 5 years that you are proud of
- Something you are excited to do in the next 6 months
- How can you bless one person before the year is over
- What is one thing you have earned this year
- What is one thing you have done that you thought was impossible
I hope you all find that developing a gratitude list lifts your spirits and prepares you to own the back half of this year. It can be a tough and busy time but going in with a clear mind and heart will hopefully make it a bit easier. If you are unsure of where to start, check out Lovet Planners to use as a guide!
XOXO, Laya
