I usually have a few days out of the month when I really crave alone time. It was super easy when I lived alone but now that I live with my husband, I have to be a little more thoughtful. We are blessed to now have enough space where solitude is easy to come by, but that was not always the case. Even with space, you have to set boundaries and be intentional about truly carving out time for yourself.

I personally love a solo lunch date! I’ll bring a book, take my time and simply enjoy the meal without rushing on to the next thing. Simple but satisfying!

Happy am going to try getting up to watch the sun rise. I went on a cruise with my family last year and I did this. It was such an enjoyable experience!! I’ll have to retry it at home!! Thanks for the ideas!! I believe alone time is much needed.
