In the last year, I have been super consistent with my devotionals and it’s making a huge difference in my life. If you are signed up for my newsletter you will know what I did to make that consistency possible. In the last few months, I’ve found myself not asking for anything when I pray, just giving thanks! My faith is stronger than ever but I have moments where I need a little reminder. These scriptures have come in handy in many different situations this year.
I won’t go into specifics around why each scripture holds meaning for me. I want you to take what you need and leave what you don’t!
I am competent not in my own abilities but because He has made me competent by His Spirit (2 Corinthians 3:5-6)
My steps have been ordained and ordered by the Lord (Psalm 37:23)
I will not be afraid because I know the spirit of fear is not from Him. He has given me a spirit of power, love, and a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7)
No good thing will the Lord withhold from me as I walk up rightly before him (Psalm 84:11)
In Christ, God has chosen me as His own and made me strong. He has placed His mark on me. He has placed His Spirit in my heart as a guarantee for all He has promised (2 Corinthians 1:21-22)
“And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.”
(2 Corinthians 9:8)
I hope you found one or two of my favorite scriptures that speak to you in this phase of your life. Share a few of your favorite scriptures below that we can all tuck away for later use 🙂
XOXO, Laya

I find cultivating a spirit of gratitude to be a cornerstone for feeling more present in life. One of my favorite scriptures is Proverbs 18:16, it helps me sit in continued appreciation and aspiration for strengthening god given gifts, everyday. My life’s work as a servant-leader and advocate is motivated through these words.

My anxiety/stress this week is horrible! I am focusing all my scripture and reading to help me with it.
“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own” -Matthew 6:34
