After the oh so bomb Spiked Watermelon Lemonade, I’ve been trying other blends! I love peaches and I love strawberries so this combo made the most sense! The steps are the same as the other lemonade but the flavors give you a whole new vibe!!
One day I’ll introduce my tasting committee but their review, “You got another hit Lay!” I hope you all enjoy the strawberry peach bourbon lemonade!
Ingredients:
- 2 cups fresh or frozen strawberries
- 2 cups fresh or frozen peaches
- 2 cups of water (separated)
- 1 1/4 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice- I used 6 large lemons and a citrus juicer (if you don’t have one, roll the lemon on the counter before squeezing) You can also get a bottle of fresh-squeezed lemon juice but I’m a little old fashioned)
- 1 1/4 cup simple syrup (you can use my recipe, but store-bought is fine too) —use more if you prefer more sweet than tart
- 1 1/2 cups bourbon
- Ice, lemon slices and strawberries for garnish
Directions
- Purée strawberries, peaches and 1 cup of water until smooth in blender or food processor
- Use a mesh strainer so you only get the juice -DO NOT SKIP THIS STEP
- Add lemon juice and simple syrup to the fruit juice and whisk all together
- Add liquor here if you want or serve over ice and add liquor to your cup
- Garnish with lemon slices and strawberries then enjoy!!!
Let me know which fruit flavored lemonade you like the most. I can’t seem to decide 🙂
XOXO, Laya
