Juneteenth is becoming trendy and more mainstream, which isn’t bad, as long as we don’t forget the actual history beyond this day. Juneteenth commemorates the effective end of slavery in the United States, and Juneteenth is absolutely something to celebrate and a time to pay reverence.
This is the 3rd Juneteenth I have celebrated since having the blog and I wanted to keep the cocktail tradition going.
