I have been preparing for baby boy all year, but it still feels like fall snuck up on me! I took some time to recover and enjoy our new addition, but I am ready to start easing back into things! A cocktail feels like the best way to get back into the swing of blogging!
This Autumn Apple Sangria has my all-time favorite apple, Honeycrisp, and red wine, so you know the flavors are bomb! I’ve added some Brandy to ensure it’s a true lituation and your guest sip slow! You can add any red wine you like so that really allows the sangria to be adapted to your individual taste!
Ingredients:
- 2 Honeycrips Apples
- 1 Orange
- Juice from 1 lemon
- 4 Cinnamon sticks + more for garnish
- 1/4 C orange juice
- 1 and 3/4 C apple cider
- 1 750 ml bottle of a light bodied red wine
- 1/2 C brandy
- Add agave or graunlated sugar if you want it sweeter
- Club soda to taste
- Optional Brown sugar and cinnamon to rim glass
Directions:
- Add chopped apples, sliced oranges, and cinnamon sticks into a large pitcher
- Add wine, apple cider, orange juice, lemons juice, and brandy
- Refregiate for 6-24 hours
- Taste for sweetness and add agave or granulated sugar to taste
