This Easy Rum Punch was created to celebrate Juneteenth! Last year I shared my Spiked Watermelon Lemonade and it’s still one of the most-read blog posts to date! I plan to continue the tradition of featuring a Black-Owned spirit in a fun cocktail to celebrate Juneteenth for many years to come!
This year’s cocktail features a Caribbean White Rum from Ten To One! What I love most about this rum is it’s smooth enough to sip on its own but also blends well into this fun rum punch! We are grown, so even if we are drinking punch/cocktails, you are going to get quality over here!
Last year I learned that ice dilutes the punch too much, so I decided to freeze the juices in ice cube trays this year. It will keep the drinks cold and blend well with the flavors that are already in the punch! Fresh juice is always best and keeps with tradition but yall already know that ;).
Ingredients:
- 1 C orange juice
- 1 C pineapple juice
- 1/4 C lime juice
- 1/2 C Ten to One Rum (I sub for sparkling water to make the non-alcoholic)
- 1/2 C coconut water
- 1/2 C grenadine
- Fruit for garnish
Directions:
- Add all ingredients to a pitcher and stir 🙂
This easy rum punch lasts about 24 hours due to the citrus juice. Make it the morning of your event and stick it in the fridge! I would add fruit as garnish when you serve it!
Are you celebrating Juneteenth? Make sure you tag me in your celebrations and any time you make this easy rum punch. I can’t wait to see how you all garnish yours! This video below was for my Instagram but they are hating so I’ll post it here!
XOXO, Laya
