These Air Fryer Carrot Fries are exactly what you need, I promise! Hear me out, if you enjoy sweet potato fries, you will love these crispy babies! I had a ton of carrots that I had no idea what to do with so I got creative. Keep an eye out for my carrot soup recipe 🙂 It’s perfect for chilly weather!
Carrot fries are a low cal swap that will satisfy your french fry craving and leave room for you to enjoy my fry dip guilt-free 🙂 They have a little kick so leave out the red pepper flakes if you don’t like them spicy!
Ingredients:
Carrot Fries:
- 3-5 medium-sized carrots
- 1 TBS olive oil
- 1 garlic clove – crushed
- 3 TBS grated parmesan cheese
- 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper (Omit if you don’t like spice)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Dipping sauce:
- 2 TBS ketchup
- 1 TBS Mayo
- 1 tsp yellow mustard
- 1 tsp hot sauce
Whisk all sauce ingredients together and set aside unit you are ready to enjoy. Feel free to add more of whatever condiment is your favorite, you can’t mess it up!
Directions:
- Wash and dry carrots, and cut into smaller strips
- Using the back of a knife, crush the garlic and then chop into smaller pieces, mix with oil, and set aside
- Toss carrot strips in oil and garlic mixture, and spices until evenly coated
- Heat air fryer to 350 degrees F and fry carrots for about 15 minutes (shake the basket at the halfway point)
- Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and parsley, and serve with dipping sauce
